This past Saturday, I had the immense honor of photographing Yanelis and Allen as they became Mr. and Mrs. Gehring. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Inn at Centre Park, nestled in the heart of historic Reading. This venue is pure perfection—a true embodiment of class and elegance, with stunning ornate details gracing every room. The staff at the Inn were wonderful—professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful.

The day was made even more special by the amazing teamwork of all the vendors. Salon Avanti did a phenomenal job with the hair and makeup for the bridal party, ensuring everyone looked picture-perfect.

Though we initially planned to have the ceremony outdoors, a sudden change in the weather brought storms our way. Thankfully, we had a backup plan to move indoors, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The ceremony inside was intimate and beautiful, with a live violinist (Bronwyn Beth) adding a touch of magic to the atmosphere.

Despite the weather changes, everything went smoothly. After the heartfelt ceremony, we gathered the family for portraits, and then I whisked the newlyweds away for couple portraits. We managed to finish earlier than expected, allowing Yanelis and Allen to enjoy a bit of the cocktail hour with their guests.

The evening continued with a touching first dance, followed by heartfelt speeches and toasts. Two of these speeches were from the matron of honor and best man, who also happened to be the groom's brother and sister-in-law. It was heartwarming to learn how the bride's best friend married the groom's brother, leading to Yanelis and Allen's fateful meeting. It's always a joy to hear such stories and get to know the couples on a deeper level through these moments.

Dinner was amazing, and the cake was absolutely delicious! Cake A Fare outdid themselves with one of the most delicious strawberry cakes I've ever tasted. After dinner, we were treated to live music by Richard Thomas - Live Solo Band. His performance had everyone on the dance floor, and even I found myself joining in the fun!

Being part of weddings like Yanelis and Allen's is a privilege. Witnessing the love between two people and getting to know their family and friends is truly special. This wedding may have been small, but it was perfect in every way. Thank you, Yanelis and Allen, for choosing me as your photographer!
